A strong area for Headland is the media as a company we have worked for ITV, Granada, Yorkshire Television and Channel 4 for many years in print design, marketing and the internet. We continue to work for ITV and are currently working on the ITV Pictures web portal using Ektron CMS400.net and for National Geographic Television International where are expertise in website design and digital marketing provides a complete delivery platform for international broadcasters buying National Geographic outstanding range of programming. Our business to business clients include a wide range of different businesses from machine tools retailer Clarke International to Pace Microtechnology, designers of set top boxes for Sky, to training company Protocol Skills.
Our consumer clients rely on us to drive traffic traffic and we work closely with Alton Towers Resort and we worked for Matalan for over three years managing their website and driving their internet marketing strategy.
Ecommerce is a fast growing area for Headland with Nottingham based clients like Machine Mart, the UK's leading power tools and equipment retailer with 54 retail stores, and leading Apple Computer Dealer KRCS using our ecommerce engine and expertise to drive sales and build business. Derby based SGS Engineering is a new convert to our ecommerce platform.
Another area that is expanding for our website design and digital marketing services is the Public Sector. For example our recent work for Leeds City Region includes an Information Portal for the people who live and work within eleven local authorities. The collaborative working areas enable the Local Authorities of Barnsley, Bradford, Calderdale, Harrogate, Leeds, Wakefield and York among others to work together towards a common aim of a truly sustainable city region. We continue to develop sites that feature the Web 2.0 capabilities of the system and are currently developing a site for Pendle Borough Council.
