Managing the Highways Agency visitor journey
Headland have had a relationship for over 4 years with initial work being won to redesign and re-brand their current website. This initially involved us being an online brand guardian for this identifiably well known Government agency as well as constantly working with the Highways agency to achieve seamless user flows, accessibility and navigation experience.
From Headland's continuous involvement, The Highways agencies web presence has grown from a static site in 2004 to a fully content managed and flexible site that is used by both businesses and the general public as an informational portal. From initially being drafted in to work on design, the account has grown with additional design and development work such as developing backend admin systems and integrating 3rd party software such as an innovative Google mapping functionality.
To remain on top of this rapidly growing site, Headland have closely monitored and evaluated the structure of the site by developing online surveys and run various user focus groups in order to better understand the thousands of users that visit the site daily.
