Secure internal communications
National Express the coach and train business secured the franchise for the East Coast Mainline route from Aberdeen to London in December 2007. For two years prior to National Express winning the franchise Headland worked with GNER supporting the Internal Communications team. We designed built and maintained the companies internal comms secure extranet.
The internal comms secure extranet is a strategically signifcant communications tool for the business especially at a time when the frachise was changing hands and providing business and social information to a concerned work force was seen as critical to a seamless continuation of service, change of ownership and management.
Headland was appointed as part of the roster of agencies delivering the National Express rebrand. Headland was among the first of the roster of agencies to delpoy the businesses new brand guidelines. Against tight deadlines and a backgound of confidentiality and due diligance rebranded the National Express East Coast Mainline internal communications extranet and put it live on the day the franchise transfered from GNER to National Express.
