Headland provide managed hosting on our dedicated web and database servers, securely protected by an enterprise grade firewall. Our ISP partner is Cable & Wireless. With its multi Gigabit core backbone this network represents one of the most technically advanced delivery platforms anywhere in the world. Headland has a 100MB switch which is upgradeable.
Other clients using Cable & Wireless include The BBC, Sony and Tesco. Our solution is recommended for ease of maintenance, reliability, security and site / server management and would require only a simple domain name re-pointing exercise. Our servers are fully scaleable including for ecommerce and our systems including the CMS are fully supported. The hosting of the domain name and the provision of the SMTP connection will be sub-contracted to Cable & Wireless.
