Headland has taken Matalan’s website to the top of the charts in the online retail portal Retail Bulletin’s July 08 list of the top 100 performing retailers websites. It is some achievement as the list reviews and features the country's leading website retailers and includes the likes of Tesco Direct (5) Top Shop (8) John Lewis Partnership (17) and Apple iTunes (24).
The Matalan site is designed and built by Headland and we have also worked closely with Matalan for the past two and a half years across all aspects of their online marketing including email, SEO and promotions.
This latest success follows hot on the heels of Hitwise, the world's leading online competitive intelligence service ranking the Matalan site in their top ten most visited sites in their sector in the critical pre Christmas quarter. The Matalan site still features in the Hitwise top ten in the latest rankings released at the end of June 08.
