ITV Picture Publicity is a business to business service providing UK commercial media with publicity images from a wide range of popular ITV programmes and events under copyright. Created in partnership with ITV, this online picture desk has increased the monthly download of promotional images fourfold since its launch.

ITV Picture Publicity is a digital assett management system to control and disseminate pictures to newspapers worldwide. The system includes an asset database, customised login, management system and personal lightbox. For ITV Press Centre, headland developed a complete management system to control all the listings from ITV1 and ITV2 and all the regional stations.

These two projects, ITV Press Centre and ITV Picture Publicity demonstrate the innovative work that uses technology to drive down costs but improve the service to the end-user.
