Educational design and marketing
Sunderland AFC Foundation is the registered charity of Sunderland Association Football Club set up in November 2001. Sunderland AFC Foundation develops and delivers exciting educational and coaching programmes based around football, working with over 250,000 young people every year across the North of England and has over 30 full-time staff.
headland worked with the football club to develop e-learning software combining interactive media, education and football.
The result is a powerful motivational programme engaging young people to learn and lead healthier lifestyles. The programme is managed and promoted centrally from a content managed site allowing for simple expansion of the site, client updates and addition of new content. The programme puts our client, Sunderland AFC at the heart of KS1, KS2 education and youth work in their region.
