Headland deliver Umbraco training at Queen Margaret University

Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh asked Headland to help with their continuing evaluation of the Umbraco CMS by providing them with some developer training and on site consultancy.

Using a site they are currently developing as a model, the team developed a programme of hands on exercises to guide QMU through the principals of content authoring and site development. Headland also provided a number of user guides and a set of recommendations to help move the project forward.

"Umbraco is a great product and really straight forward to develop in, we were able to take them right through the process from installation to building a site from scratch." Says James Dawson, Training Manager at Headland.

"We found the training really helpful, especially as it was tailored to meet our own situation and used examples we could easily relate to." Said Evelyn Marshall, MIS Manager, Queen Margaret University.
