Leicester Museums and Galleries remember WWI

On 1st July 2016, to mark the centenary of the start of the Battle of the Somme, an exhibition opened at the Newarke Museum in Leicester commemorating the events, exploits and gallantry of the Leicestershire Regiment from 1914 to 1918.

One of the main exhibits is an interactive timeline designed and built by Headland. The exhibit is built on the Umbraco CMS platform and provides an engaging resource documenting the Regiment's involvement against the broader background of World War I.
