The design team at Headland has created the new branding for ukbreakaways.com, a new website for booking hotel breaks from the Shearings Group.
It is the first creative step in a brand overhaul which will include a website refresh designed by Headland. Our landscape research model identified brand attributes of familiarity, the need to be contemporary but not overly trendy, the benefits of belonging to Shearings Group, and the expectation and anticipation of travel.
Furthermore, the aim of the business is to position the brand alongside the existing National Holidays short breaks offering. Our approach to achieve this included using a complementary colour palette relating to the existing Shearings owned business.
The plan is to launch the new logo in marketing collateral in advance of the website launch. "We’re delighted with the final result, especially building on our work on the National Holidays brand.
